Sport

Our expansive campus enables our students to maintain a regular routine of physical activity. For students of all ages, our Physical Education program develops strength, coordination, fitness, teamwork, and a love of movement. Our Sport program gives students from Kindergarten to 12 the opportunity to participate in a range of sports simply for the purpose of enjoyment. Our representative sporting program gives students the opportunity to experience the thrill of inter-school competition in sports such as athletics, cross country running, swimming, football (soccer), softball, netball, basketball, volleyball, and touch football. Talented sportspersons may be selected to compete at higher levels in the sport of their choice. The College is part of the Christian Schools Sports Association (CSSA) and the Combined Independent Schools (CIS). These organisations give students a pathway to both Zone, State and National representation. The College is also a member of the Hills Zone Sports Association (HZSA).

Primary Physical Education and Sport

Our Physical Education program develops strength, coordination, fitness, and a love of movement, and our representative sporting program gives students the opportunity to compete in a wide variety of sports.

All Primary students participate in a range of activities to help them develop strength, coordination, fitness and a love of physical activity. Each Primary class has one Physical Education lesson each week where they focus on the physical skills that comprise the many sports they may encounter in their lives. Each class also has one Sport lesson each week where they participate in a range of sports throughout the year.

Secondary Physical Education and Sport

Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) is mandatory for students in years 7-10 and is offered as an elective course for students in Year 11 and 12. The PDHPE courses provide students with the opportunity to learn about a range of areas that underpin health and physical activity. Students develop their critical thinking skills and develop a deep understanding of the factors that impact on heath, sport and physical activity. Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS)
